loadbang stops working...

    Dear all
I need to reinstall Max for the 2nd time this month... it seem to be the only cure to a strange disease of loadbang just stopping to work even after restart of the machine... latest version of mac os and max...
    am I the only one?

That doesn't sound good. Think I'll hold off updating to 5.1.7..

This is not a known issue.
Please post OS, exact version of Max installed, simple patch, and steps to reproduce. Also, please remove any third party externals from Max's search path to rule these out of the equation.

      Hello Ben
I removed everything not kosher (not much: ftm, hr.objects, harker's and mine) as well as all custom research paths, and it still does not work. Simple patch to use: the loadbang helpfile.
      Mac OS X 10.6.6 MacBookPro6,2 Intel Core i7 2,66 GHz 8 Go ram MaxMSP 5.1.7
reinstalling the software above itself does not sort the issue. neither does a clean install now.
I will restart the machine and update this post if it is sorted. __EDIT__ restarting the machine after the install sorted the problem... very strange indeed!

Super bizarre, never have run across this issue before. I am assuming it is machine-specific, so if you are still having problems, please email support at cycling74 dot com.
      Thanks, -Ben
