I have an older patch that uses this object from Peter Elsea.  Upon opening it for the first time in awhile, it cannot find the object.  It does not appear in the Zip file downloaded from Peter's website.  However, a help patcher does appear, so I know it is/was an lobject.  There is no contact information for Peter on his website.  Does anyone have the most recent version of this object or some idea of why it was omitted?

I don't have the original Byte object, but the help file suggests it converts binary bits to an integer. Here's an abstraction that does the same thing.

renaming the helpfile to Lbyte.maxhelp will bring the two together...
