Logic's Space dEsigner
Hi all,
Is there any way to use Logic's 8 Space Designer as a VST unit in Max/msp?
Thank you

Sure. Put pluggo AU plugs before and after it in Logic.

Um, please explain.

You have to use Logic's IO, but you can put anything you like into your patches(plugs), including writing to disk etc. Plus you get to save all the state of your patches in the Logic project via the pp object.
In other words, turn your patches into plugins.

Andrew's suggestion works only if you have pluggo installed, of course. You
can download it for free, read through the doc, and try it, to have an idea.

Actually, that may be very useful and interesting to study a simple Logic
project doing that. That would be awesome if someone had done it and would
like to share.

I have pluggo and I have managed to create Logic compatible plugs....
The question is how can I use LOGIC AU into a max patch?
You'll need Michael Norris's [au~ ]. Can't remember the url off the
top of my head, but check maxobjects, or Google Michael Norris.

First off, Max doesn't support the AU format.
Second, even if it did, the Logic AU plugins are actually built into
Logic, and not available outside of a few select Apple programs.
