Looking for help connecting a Teensy 2.0 to Max
Hi,
I have a teensy 2.0
I made this test on a Mac running Mac Os X.6.5 and Max 5.1.6
I downloaded the arduino 019.
I installed the standardfirmata from examples with arduino.app and teensy.app
I installed the USB serial driver that is in the arduino Package.
I installed OSC objects.
I installed Maxuino 009
When i use the Maxuino patch, I don't see any serial port other than :
serial: port a: Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
serial: port b: Bluetooth-Modem
Is it normal?
And then, the teensy does not seems to communicate with Max.
I want it to receive in analog or digital.
Is there something i missed?
Is there another way to test than using the maxuino.help patch?
Is there any update to do?
I looked at some forums, but couldn't find the response to my problem.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Philippe.
Not sure what problem there is on the Max side, but hey, that board looks really cool...
I wonder if the USB drivers need to be "teensy-specific" rather than the Arduino. Maybe there is a conflict with the Arduino that is messing up [serial]. And if the Arduino is using your serial port, maybe that keeps the Teensy from communicating?
These are just guesses, as you might have figured out by now... :/
The Teensy might need an FTDI driver. Check this tutorial:
