M4L Device to Loop Unwarped Clips?

One of the limitations of Live that lots of people have mentioned is that its not possible to loop unwarped clips - has anyone heard of or built an m4l device that works around this?

Why is the warping a problem - or: What would be the difference when looping a unwarped clip?

Of course you could observe the playing_position/-status and restart the clip when its over. But then some timing issues and clicks/blobs might occur.
      Try it out!

There is a device called "Clip operation" it fires clips and loop them ...

if the clip you want to loop is of the same tempo as the song temp you could do what ring said without problem. See also my AutoFollow device as a starting point: http://www.timorozendal.nl/?p=236 It doesn't loop unwarped clips, but it does start a next clip as soon as any clip is finished (warped or unwarped), it's really simple to modify it so that it starts the same clip and thus loops
