M4L & Jitter FPS drop.

    Hello everyone,
I'm trying to put together a video playback system with max for live and I ran into a big problem:
Whenever I scroll through the device manager in Live (the bottom right part of the gui, where the devices on the selected track are placed), the frame rate drops and the video gets choppy. (I'm using jit.gl.hap and all the gpu stuff...)
This is very easy to reproduce. Just put a qmetro with an jit.fpsgui in a max for live device, then put it on a track with some other devices (so you have something to scroll past) and then scroll slowly back and forth. The frame rate will drop noticeably.
I guess this has something to do with the low priority queue and I tried using metro and defer instead, but then the Ableton Gui gets very unresponsive.
Can someone help me with this? I put days and days of work into this, but now I'm kind of stuck with this problem.
    Thank you.
I guess it has something to do with
