Make Max toolbox a part of max

I didn't yet seen new max hotkeys list, but i think it will be awesome to add support of hotkeys like in max toolbox. Or maybe integrate it like BEAP.

A big step has been made in the right direction but a little bit remains to do...

Using shift + shortcuts, auto patch the objects. It would be great to shift+ double-click to create a new connected object.

Of course, connecting more than one object at a time would be wonderful.

Hi guys,

Normally the Max ToolBox should be 100% compatible with Max 7, let me know if you have troubles with it.

Hi Nat,

Thanks for your help and the Toolbox. I've installed it but there are some problems.
For example, I can't use the new zoom feature on the z key even tough I have reassigned it to something else in the toolbox text file.
And the new feature, shift+I in Max7 for auto connecting an integer doesn't work at all...

Do you have any idea ?

Thanks again for your work.

What version are you using ?
Make sure you are using the latest version from github:
https://github.com/natcl/maxtoolbox/archive/master.zip

z and Z should work for zoom and u should work as undo
If you change the shortcut "I" to something else then restart Max, the number auto connect should work.

It works ! I didn't have the good version and needed to restart. All works perfectly fine now.

Your toolbox brings so much to Max that I still don't understand why Cycling doesn't include it by default.

Thank you very much

I agree 200% with this post.
One of the 1st thing I did was to try to install Max Toolbox and it does work for me.

I placed it in the "content/c74 folder" and the maxtoolbox.maxpat in the extra's folder. but It does seem to work ?

had it work on max 4 5 6
so i know how to install it.

should I be placing the folders in a different place ??

thx a lot nathanael

The Toolbox package, like any other externals have to be in : Document > Max 7 > Packages

Indeed, since Max 6.1 you can install it in your Documents/Max 7/Packages folder, it will appear in the extras menu automatically.
