Making applications of max patches

HI wondering if anyone can help, I would still class myself as a beginner with max but have got to the stage of creating patches that I use to mix/compose live in. As at the moment I am using a g5 powermac I am thinking of getting a laptop for live use.
Is it possible to compile an application of a max patch and run it on a laptop without max installed? If so what is the reliability of such an action, I would be looking at a g4 iBook with 512 ram and at leat a 1.1ghz processor, the patches work fine on both my g5 and the Emac's at my university so they are'nt very processor heavy.
If failing this, does cycling 74 allow max to be installed on a second computer?
Thank in advance for your help Haircut

      hi,
Well, many solutions. First, if you bought Max, you can authorize it on two separate computer. Then you have few otions. You can use your patch or build a collective. You can use the Runtime version of Max. Or the other solution is to build an application from your patch. But please please please, have a look at the doc ! There's a whole chapter about this. Buying the program and simply reading the index of the doc would have answered your questions actually...
