math probelm

    115/4.14=27.7 148/5.14=28.7 150/5.03=29.8 361/11.04=32.6 411/12.12=34.15
    i want to calculate the max and min of a matrix position on a opengl plane. i noticed that (for example) when the dim size is 115 1 then [line -4.14, 4.14 3000] scroll the matrix from offscreen left to offscreen right . i wrote down several of this. now i want to make it automatic. any formula that this numbers fit in? tahnx
