matrix as weave

I'm a weaver and video person trying to use the matrix as a platform for funnelling moving textures into a multi-layered warp and weft.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can begin this process?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry, but this question is too vague to offer any feedback. There
are an infinite number of ways to approach this. I would suggest you
take some time to patiently go through the Max and Jitter tutorials,
poke around the examples, and then send specific questions on topics
which you are having difficulty with, preferably with an example
patch and clear description outlining your difficulties.

I might also suggest reading the following recommendations for how to
ask questions on mailing lists to better achieve the feedback that
will help you. Ignore the somewhat arrogant tone of the article. It
contains valuable advice for posting questions nonetheless.

I think that Christy Matson has done some work in this area.
Nice stuff, at that.

Raphael Perret from Switzerland made a lovely project with Max,
bodies in space creating tesselated patterns which are then woven
into physical fabrics with digital loom technology

the project is called 'Dresscode' and can be seen here:

I've seen Raphael on the list from time to time (h!)

Hi -

Thank you for your responses. I went to the recommended websites and it seems like both Christy Watson and Raphael Perret are working with max/msp and fabric in really interesting ways. It is good to know that the intersections of weaving/fabric and max/msp are being explored. I think their endeavours could be useful starting points for my work.

In reference to first responder to my post, I will look over my manual and compose a technically specific question in reference to my project.

Thanks again.
