Max 6 documentation for offline browsing on mobile devices

Hi all,

I wanted to be able to read the complete Max 6 documentation on my iPad so I finally managed to hack a version of it that can be viewed on a browser (mobile or computer). If anyone is interested (also I wonder if Cycling74 would be ok with it) I can post the link here.

Thank you so much !

May I ask you two questions ?

How do you do for using it on an iPad ?

Do you think it's possible to create a pdf from your file ?

Thanks again.

eerrr, am i missing something?!

this is just a copy of the local max6 documentation folder. we can all read it "offline" already thanks.

i thought you had made a pdf of the whole thing, like someone did for max5 a while back...

nevermind.

It's not just a copy. The scripts have been modified so it can be browsed outside of Max. If you install a document reader on an iPad or iPhone (I use GoodReader but there are many others, some free) you can browse the documentation exactly like you would within Max, including searching. I find it more useful than a PDF but I can see that in some circumstances a PDF can be better. When I'm back from a trip I'll see if I can parse the XMLs into a PDF.
