Max 6 Export Vector Image
I mailed C74 about being able to export vector images of patches (a la Pd) a while back and received a positive response stating that it's something that others have requested and that they were looking into it.
I see that Max 6 doesn't have this feature, so I just wanted to reinforce this request and also see how many others would like such a feature.
This feature would really help me out over the next couple of years, but if I'm the only one then of course it would be silly for them to allocate resources to make it happen.
So is vector image export something anyone else would like to see?
Hi
Focus on patch and use 'export image' under File menu gives a png but it is a bitmap not vector . .
Pretty sure I saw a preference for setting the dpi so you should be able to get decent quality.
Not sure how hard it would be for them to get vectored pdfs out but it would not be impossible . .
Yeah they've got up to 300dpi export, but I do all my examples for papers in Illustrator and it would just be beautiful thing to have as much control over an image of a patch as I do over music notation I export from Finale as .eps.
AAh, I couldn't find the pref again, had hoped maybe you could have got a bit more . . .
Though you still be able to get reasonable results depending on various factors.
Certainly true vector art would be ideal . ..
I too would find a vector graphics export very useful as well if this can be looked at for a future release.
I need this so much!

Has anything happened in this field?
