Max 7 and Windows 10 support plans
Hello,
Three hours left to Microsoft Build conference 2015 and I would like to know Cycling '74 plans about supporting Windows 10 platform and a new Windows 10 applications scheme. What I'd like to know and found it interesting for Max users is:
Can we build apps with Max 7, which will successfully run on Windows 10 mobile devices?
Best regards,
Ruslan Yusipov
The Keynote was great , especially the holograms . Im excited quite much .
i would love to see max taking advantage of HoloLens . I can see targeting max into such technologies .
as for platforming ...
... considering win32 , max might work with mobile/table as native app as i understood . Or even communicating through dual screen scenario directly .
Yesterday, I received an allert pointing me to stay in a que for upgrading to Windows 10. Thus 29 July is approaching and no word from Cycling '74 as opposed to Mac side of things. Let Max for Windows not be a dog fifth leg and give at least a notion to the subject.
+1 on this thread. After being a Mac user for the first part of my computer life, I got a Windows machine a year ago and have been very happy running Max on it. Having a touch screen (becoming standard on Windows laptops) is so useful, even if it is only one point touch at this time. Would LOVE to see multi touch input native on MaxMSP!!!!.
Windows 10 looks like a good improvement for the OS, it would be really great to see Cycling give more love to it!
