Max 7.3.5 can't save patches or authorise
I have a Max 7 Academic Permanent License. Every time I try to save a patch I'm asked to authorise the application. When I try to do so the window fails to accept my login details. Yet I'm able to sign into my account online with the same login details. Can anyone help me fix this please?
seems you are trying to run max7 on unsupported system.
Max7 will probably have troubles even if you manage to authorize it,
like fail to ask permissions for audio, camera etc
Authorizing could maybe work if you do it on older/supported system on your hardware
and then copy authorisation file over to monterey.
I'm facing exactly the same problem: not being able to authorize my licence when using Max 7.3.6, be it on an even older macOS (10.8.5), on which i'm working because of some old software that didn't get upgraded to newer MacOS.
Never had a problem in the past... Max was working perfectly fine... and is still working perfectly fine when using saved patches, be it that i cannot authorzie (and hence save changes in patches) since recent activity (oct'25).
How come this system all of a sunden wouldn't be "supported" any more??
Please help!
