Is Max 8.3 still compatible with Live 10?

I wonder because, when I try to open a Max4Live device from Live, it opens the internal Max 8.1 instead of my installed and open 8.3...

I just want to test my M4L devices in Live 10. If they run there, I assume they should run in 11 as well...

In the Ableton Live settings you can choose whether to use the bundled version of Max (which is probably still at 8.1) or any other version. I guess you would need to naviate to the folder which contains Max 8.3 in order for Ableton Live to use Max 8.3.
