I have an old M-Audio Mobile Pre 2-in 2-out USB interface that I use for situations when I only need two channels and when I'm looking for portability. This interface is class-compliant and still works fine, most recently with Reaper on Monterey with my new Mac Book Pro. However, when I try to use it with Max 8, it will only offer me a sampling rate of 3200, with no other options in the Audio Status menu. I have had the same issue on an older Mac running Max 8 on High Sierra. Needless to say, this creates all sorts of not-nice audio problems. Is there anything I can do about this or is this just the end of the line for this interface as far as Max goes?
