Max 9.2 - Subdiv~ Problemo

René Mosele's icon

hi folks

Is it just me, or is subdiv~ not working properly anymore in Max 9.2?

@div is working but the counter output on middle outlet and right outlet is messed up.

Hope for a quick fix!

Me too haha! What a relief finding this thread.

Does anyone know of a workaround or can guess when a patch like this might roll out?

I'm having trouble reverting to an older version of Max for some reason, so I'm stuck haha!

Outlet 1 of subdivide actually works normally

Just missing the counters from outlet 2, 3

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Haha, I guess my signal counting is a bit abnormal - !~

Thanks mate! Helpful.

Managed to get an older version installed so thankfully I can continue work.

That might help someone.

Same here on Max 9.2.0 (the Max920_261001 build), macOS 27.0.1, Apple silicon. A bit more detail in case it helps narrow it down: with phasor~ 1n @lock 1 -> subdiv~ 16 and the transport running, the right (int) outlet still fires once per step, but the value is always 1. The middle (signal) step outlet sits at a constant 1.0. The left ramp outlet and the div attribute work normally. The identical patch in Max 9.1.5 (the one bundled with Live 12.4.7) counts 0-15 on both outlets.
