Max ableton midi mapping
Not sure if I'm doing this right, but I'm trying to control ableton live knobs using max midi. I'm about to do that with 1 set of numbers but would like a few different numbers to control different knobs in ableton. When I select one of the knobs to be mapped in ableton live, it just automatically assigns ctlout a 1 1 in max midi when I want to assign ctlout a 1 2 for instance, and I can't change that. Am I doing this wrong? Am a newbie at this. Thanks for the help!
Also does anyone know what video data vizzieconvertr is converting into midi numbers? Thanks!
The VIZZIECONVERTR module accepts input from any other Vizzie module, averages the RGB values for all of the pixels in the video frame using a jit.3m object, and scales the resulting output value to the 0 - 127 range that corresponds to MIDI note or velocity number values - it's a string of values between 0. and 127.0. Since you're dealing with averages of large images, this conversion will work better with some kinds of input than others.
