Max App "would like to access the microphone"

I made a small Max audio app on a Mac and whenever I change something via [adstatus] the Mac says "<AppName> would like to access the microphone". The app is checked in System Preferences/Security & Privacy and I tried to set the permissions to all. But I still get the alerts and have to confirm each time.

How can I get rid of that?

macOS 12.2.1 (Monterey) on a M1 Mac mini.

Did you export it as a standalone or are you getting this error in Max the running patch?

The error appears only with the standalone application.

Hi Peter, did you find a way around this? I'm facing the same problem now.

No. I did not explore that further because with an existing standalone app my other patches could not be started properly. Did not find an understandable description how to clean up this whole mess with standalones without subscribing as an Apple developer and learning a ton of stuff I don't need for my own little helper apps. It's a pity. Standalones were very helpful for me before Apple implemented this security nonsense. I think I will never make Max apps again because Apple won't stop protecting me from myself.

I have this problem too. Im trying to deploy a screen instrument to a disabled person and really need it to be standalone. Has anyone found a way round?
