For some exhibitions, my compter starts automatically when electricity is on. I have a max patch launched  automatically too.

I use thy system for a long time (since 2012).

Now, when Max/MSP is launched I have a message : "It looks like Max has crashed, do you want to recover your work ?" Of course I say Yes.

I have repaired and reinstalled Max too, but I have always this message.

If you make mxf out of maxpat, it will not get dirty flag set in any condition.

Build a collective, insert this line in the build inspector

that builds collective free of any embedded externals.

Also go into preferences and disable crash recovery, as well as restore patches on launch.

I would prtefer to build a standalone application for Installation,

it is much more stable and faster than max itself,
