Max Data in Coll
very simple question: how many lines of data can be stored in a coll object?
test:
many... but time needed is the thing. i.e. a cleared coll is faster ? Complexity of the lists to store ? index as integer or symbol ? etc.
nb: i like very much coll's :-)

if a coll has indexes 1-100,000 and you choose to read out 92,700 it can cause quite a CPU spike under scheduler conditions. but if you really and always need 100,000, there is nothing you can do to avoid that.
Thanks Roman, i dydn't think cpu sppikes: usual i need 256 to 1024, i.e. dmx. By "instinct", for more datas i should avoid coll and think buffer~, or matrix... Coll + multislider + listfunnel + vexpr are for me the good old way to visualise and understand what happens with datas :-) And gen~ appears: oups !
Thanks, I got my information. coll can take 100.000 only if the feed is slow and the request not jumping between addresses that are far apart.
Many thanks
1024 sounds like no problem at all.
