Max For Live LFO device with folding/smart range?

Can anyone recommend a (free or paid) Max for Live LFO (or set of LFO devices) that can be mapped on to other devices' parameters in Ableton, and where I can adjust the range of the LFO effect without that affecting the perceived rate.

in other (hopefully better) words:

• Set LFO to be , for example, an upwards shape at 1Hz which drives the parameter from 0-100% (like a [phasor~], ha)

• I can then adjust the range of the effect to be, say, 0 to 50%, but the overall rate of parameter change stays the same, i.e., the time to go from 0-50% is still 500 msecs.

obviously, in the standard LFO M4L device in Ableton, one can adjust the range of the modulation effect, but the LFO frequency doesn't get adjusted in the background, so the rate of change would in fact halve when the effective range of the LFO halves.
