i dont know about the 'max midi lfo', but many time-based objects will accept notevalues (ie '4n' - 1/4 notes) - look it up in the help file. Anything that doesnt accept note values, you can use the translate object, which will accept a notevalule as input, and output hz/ ms/ whatever units you specify. All of this of course links to your master transport tempo, so should be in time with your sequencer..
