Maschine seems to start playing as soon as a pad is pressed! Tempo sync via global transport at extras

im new to max, so excuse the noob question, but isnt the transport object made for this purpose?

I want to know it too, I'm using Maschine2.0 as VST on Max 6.1.

I used the transport object to communicate with the clock in Maschine and make it play, but I want to control the functions in Maschine2.0 like sampling and slicing, not just using MK2 as a MIDI controller.

I tried to use these tables as a reference
