Max Multitouch Support
Hi all! I've been using Lemur for years and would like to switch to a fully Max4Live environment where I don't have to worry about any servers, OSC in/out on a Windows 10 or Mac Touchscreen running natively. Does Max4Live support multitouch at this point or do I need to use something like OSC/pilot still?
No takers on this one?
m4l devices support multitouch, but live native devices do not. So you can move 2 or more faders/dial´s in a M4L device, but you can not move 2 Track-Level faders at once.
Does this mean if I make a M4L UI component and have it control Ableton faders, it will only adjust one at a time even though the M4L component updates?
no... with max you can adjust as much faders as you want at the 'same time'
no, I mean you can only move 1 Live-Channel Fader with multitouch. Multitouch only works in M4L devices. So you can make a M4L device that controlls more Channel Faders in Live and move them with multitouch. But Live itself and Live Native Devices have no multitouch (you can only move 1 item).
