I'm tying to use Wiimote on my PC to connect to MaxMSP. Maybe some audio player in Mamxp,ect. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial, demo patch, website, etc. than can walk me through the process?

Have a look at the hi object. There's a tutorial about it in the max tutorials I think.

The best way (i think cause i used it) to use wiimote on pc with max/msp is to use tk.wii wich is included in eamir sdk on eamir.org.

You must create an account, but the sdk is free. You will find many objects, some are using wiimote.

Another option is to capture the Wii xternally i.e.with GlovePie (win) or junXtion from Steim (mac) and send MIDI/OSC to max.

It might sound a bit strange at first but it has advantages in stability. I do this for live performances. If the wii connection crashes you'll still have the patch still running.
