MAX + Rewire + FL Studio
Who did it? When max is the rewire client? I want to route midi data from max to FL Studio, but I cant do this. I add rewired channel in FL, choose MAX as the rewire-client, open midi mapping and route output to port 1 for example. Then I add VSTi for port 1 in FL. Then open max with my patch, add midi_adrewire object and choose ad_rewire from dsp_status window. Then I start to generate midi data from max. but there is no result.
Who can help?
Thank you
did you put a midiin or notein object down and select rewire 1? In the DSP preferences window of Max, after selecting ad_rewire, set the midi ports more than 0.
Yes. In midiout object I choose rewire 1 and in dsp preferencies I choose 1 port.
The focus is that I got the midi signal in FL studio and the vsti in FL start to play by midi commands from max. But some minutes later the midi signal stops and to retrieve it I should restart fl studio and max.
And the second problem, that I can not record midi signal from max to FL. I touch record button, but midi isn`t written to step sequncer.
Sorry. When midi signal from max stops after 4 minutes, I should choose NONE as rewire client in rewired chanel in FL and then I should choose max again and set all midi mapping again. After this midi signal goes another 4 minutes from max, then the story repeats.
by the way, when I make Max as rewire host and FL as a client, the midi signal from max goes permanently to FL. But I couldn`t record it to FL step sequencer anyway.
eh, its much better with fruity as the host :) that way you can get uber sync info's to drive your own creations muahahah.. erm. then again... fruity makes a good drum machine ^_^
yes.)
may be could anything do that connection? And tell the result?
I can send the max patch to test it.
The question is solved by compiling max pathces into midi pluggo plugins. This way everything works correct! no rewire!
Thank you for all!
