Max slider sequencer with amount of steps per sound
Hi! I'm trying to make a gate/bang sequencer that works by using a single slider per instrument. Or maybe a few. The idea is that i could have dedicated sliders for different instruments and the slider would choose the amount of steps for the selected instrument. Then, the pattern would loop like a turing machine and the start and end steps of the sequence could be edited. So i could hover over the generated pattern to have different loops from the step amount selected by the slider and the start-end loop area. I've done some stuff with random and counter with start and end step dials to choose the range of steps and gated them from 0 and 1 to choose wich step is active . but I can't figure out how to make a slider that generate the selected frequency of steps for lets say 16 steps (semi randomly) , and then get those to gate a select object. I probably am very hard to understand but i NEED HELP
So simplified explanation: turing machine / digital shift register with a slider/dial to select amount of activity. and then sequence length and start point modulation sliders/dials.
One can't understand that really, but try rslider. (range slider)
It's the only one I know of that can set a range and then move it arround.
modifier keys command - alt set it's behaviour
