i am trying to build a standalone application in max. i am very frustrated because i have not been able to do it yet. does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestion to spare.

Well, be sure to read Max Manual chapter on standalone building and 

the Jitter manual's Appendix D (included in the Jitter 1.5.2 

download). If you still have issues, you might provide a link to the 

offending patch, the collective build script, and a sample standalone 

output, together with specific issues that you have with what isn't 

max/jitter issues
