MaxMSP + new Wifi cameras from Panasonic, Canon, Nikon and Samsung?

Has anyone here experimented with or even gone so far as to develop any externals that can communicate with some of the new Wifi capable cameras on the market? I know it's a brand new concept to have cameras with Wifi transfer and menu control capabilities, but I was hoping someone in the Max community with a little more digital film experience had already picked up on this new wifi camera trend and has already been exploring the possibilities of controlling in-camera features wirelessly via a max patch. I've been debating what kind of DSLR to buy for some time (particularly interested in the Panasonic GH series) and now that wifi is a new player in the game that could easily be the deciding factor. Here are some interesting patch ideas I have thought of so far, I'd love to hear some feedback from people who understand the wifi control specs of these different cameras to see if these are remotely possible with any of today's cameras:

1) Basic zoom and manual focus controls
2) Tracking the proximity of a moving target, and scaling the camera's manual focus to keep the subject in focus automatically
3) Dynamic adjustments of the shutter actuation rate for taking time-lapse images OR
4) a simple intervolometer patch to bang shutter actuations

Wow, it sounds cool. I'm looking for buying a camera and I was looking for some info about good cameras for max. I'm sorry but I cannot say I've got the solution. I hope somebody will do it in few weeks.
