Can someone answer my question for the file system at Max. I'm looking for creating *.amxd files. Once I have an instrument opened in Live and I create a new patcher, this files are going to be saved as *.maxpat. However, I want to create *.amxd for loading in live. Can someone help, please? In Live, in Categories, choose Max for Live; in Name, choose Max Audio Effect or Max Instrument or Max MIDI Effect; create a Max Audio Effect, Max Instrument, or Max MIDI Effect in the desired track; edit it; save it.
Hi Cristopher. Thanks for your response. Does that mean that once I have created a new patcher by cmd#n and I have programmed a patch that I'm required to copy my programmings to a instrument as described? Thanks again. Boris
If you mean you have already written your patch in (plain) Max and you now wish to change that into a Max for Live device, the answer is yes, just copy the objects from your Max patch and paste them into the Max for Live patching window and save the .amxd file.

It would be cool if we could save it as a Max for Live Project in Max for Live Devices and automate everything.
