I am wondering about an error in timing/synchronisation using solenoids and audio processing.

I did a small circuit with L293d and an arduino, controlling solenoids with max. for the easier way to connect max/msp with the arduino i'm using the maxuino-external. Everytime I start some repetitive structure with some audio-processings the timing crashes and the "beat" stumbles. dac~on generates really huge latencies.

Does anybody know about that problem and got a solution for me?
