I'm using a list going into mc.gain~ to control a bunch of different channel gain values which I am generating in a list from a matrixctrl object. What I'm finding is that mc.gain~ is really slowing down my system when used in this way. I'm using a lot of channels (about 70?), but I'm pretty certain if I was to patch it all manually the performance would be fine (i.e. it's mc.gain~ which is the culprit). Also, when I disconnect the mc.gain~ I get very smooth output from matrixctrl. I'm not sure whether this is a bug, or I'm not using the objects as intended - maybe there's another approach to doing this?

matrixctrl is setting gain (on/off) of each fader

getrow command is being used recall settings from matrixctrl

the list generated out the right outlet of matrixctrl is being used to control mc.gain~

mc.gain~ slow / latency when reading large lists - is there an alternative?
