metro 4n - how about 4d and 4t? (dotted and triplet)

I really like the option of using arguments like 4n and 8n to get quarter note or eight note pulses in Max 5. Very useful in combination with the transport object.
But how about dotted notes and triplets? Would it be possible to have 4t (for quarter note triplet pulses) and 2d (for dotted second note pulses) arguments too? Or is there some reason why this would not be possible, practical or useful?
It seems so obvious to me that when I tried it I was actually surprised to find that it's not implemented yet. But maybe I'm overlooking something?
Anyone tried if transport syncs to the master program in rewire slave mode, btw?
