MGMT - Time to Pretend

I am curious for jitter folks' analysis of this video. I'm sure we are all way too cool for this kind of music, but there are a few effects in here that I know would be very easy to do in jitter and that bridge the video/gl domains, namely,

1) camera panning. the video makes lots of very animated camera pans by doing what in jitter would i think just be the making alot of use of the "camera" attribute to jit.gl.render.

2) and of course there's all sorts of crazy compositing of gl vidplanes going on here, especially lots of "tiling" of different vidplanes to get the sort of kaliedescopic multiplied effect which creates a sort of "crowd" from one shot. not sure what the best way is to repeat things like that...

I think this video, painfully trendy yes, is a good example of someone who at least really has a creative grip on the technology, brutal and unrefined as it is... i like how it is low budget but at the same time so spectacular (green screen artifacts left everywhere and all). If anyone has any thing to share on this, thoughts, patches, disdain or obj files of dolphins and kittens, this might be the place to do so.

Ha. I did a video for a band almost exactly like that with jitter:

Dont listen to the song too much, it will make you crazy. *sob*

Totally doable in jitter.
