I have a question on the topic Live / Max / MIDI.

I would like to know if there is a way to control the Live Midi Editor with Max.

I would like to put some Midi Notes (For example a drum rack) in the Live Midi Editor (Or via Live.step object in Max) without interacting with Live but only with max.

In other words, I would like to know if there is a way to make a max "bang" put a Midi note in Midi Editor when the Rec-clip mode is running. One bang is placing a snare hit, then another bang is placing another one, etc. (as we can do it with the computer keyboard)
