MIDI from Excel

Many years ago David Zicarelli wrote a little basic program that would read Excel data and generate MIDI files. I used Excel to generate various number series which were then used as note and timing parameters. In those old days I then took the generated MIDI file into MAX or Vision to tweak. I used to have this program but it is long gone. Does David or anyone have a current Excel to MIDI translation? Thanks.
