Midi from Max/MSP to Spectrasonics Omnisphere via Logic 9
Hello all.
I have large patch which I've successfully got playing Omnisphere by loading Omnisphere in Logic and sending midi from Max and channel routing in the environment to the individual channels.My problem comes in that I wish to change programs from Ma but the pgmout seems to do nothing when routed into the relevant place. Even if this was so there are far too many programs in Omnisphere to be addressed with 128 midi numbers, even if you included banks a-z. Does anyone know any way to get this working or have any experience of similar situations?
Running Omnisphere in vst~ yields an equal lack of success, and I want it in Logic anyway so I can record the midi notes.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Be aware that Logic "hijacks" program changes on channel 1 for switching channel strips.
So only program changes on channel 2..16 are actually sent to the plugins.

Fraid no joy. I think Spectrasonics stuff is locked to that kind of program changing. Probably because it doesn't (it seems) have a midi configuration for programs and multis, rather it relies on it's own browsing system.
That puts a kink in my long term masterplan... let's find a different way.
