Hey! hi, i´ve a little question, i want to know if there are a way of connect mi guitar to max with an audio interface and then use something like a frecuency to midi to use mi guitar like a midi interface, cuz i want to do that, but i don´t want to buy a midi pick up. I want to convert to midi signals and then may be control midi instrument in ableton live.

Thank you very much! and sorry for my not badass english. :)

I've start a m4l patch that may interest you. You can load a audiounit or vst synth in the patch and play it with your guitar.
There's a latency, it's monophonic... and it's certainly to improve, a lot.
But, it should be handy for you.

I've just completed an FM Synth designed to be played using a pitch-tracked electric guitar for a university project. I used 'sigmund~' and had some awesome results, I highly recommend it.

I'll post a link to the patch once I've built a standalone! Good luck!

Well, i could tell you how to do an input handler but it´s more easy if you download the patch of this tutorial https://cycling74.com/tutorials/max-5-guitar-processor-part-1/

Just use the input handler and you can select an audio interface an the input of the interface, and just conect the output of the inputhandler to an ADC.

Then between the inputhandler and the ADC you can creat the efect that you wish.

All the best!
