am i way of, or was i able to select a specific midi-controller for midiin and midiout objects in a m4l midi effect back in LIVE8?

because now in 9 i cant, right-click on midiin object or using midiinfo, it only shows me me "Max Midi Effect"

besides that, does anybody now how i cant set up the Launchpad to send midi notes in USER2 mode, just like in user mode 1?
