Midi Show Control encoder
hey everyone,
I am currently working on remote controlling pre-programmed cues and submasters on a lighting console via midi show control / MSC. Before I start reinventing the wheel, I looked around what is already out there;
first there is of course David Butlers great work on a MSC decoder, as well as a somewhat rough version of an encoder that was done by Michael Todd. Before I start coding my own MSC-encoder, is anyone aware of a more advanced patch/object for this job? Also, any pointers on how to use regexp or something similar for the required ASCII conversion (that's what I am dreading the most)? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi Dimbels,
Wondering if you ever made any progress on encoding MSC messages.
Thank you,
Enrico
oh I did! I managed controlling an GrandMA with it. I'll have to scour my archives and with some look I may still have the code somewhere. Let me know if it's urgent. Otherwise I'll try to update sometime soon.
