Are you using the Mita app or Mira Web? ASAIK on windows only the browser version is supported. But it's a long time ago since I last used Mira

ah im attempting to use the app.... will check out the web version

To my knowledge Mira is supported on Windows. Did you install Bonjour and made sure it's available and set up on the machine? More info is available here:
