I think there is a mistake in the patch at 2:30 : the second outlet of adsr~ should be connected to the edge~ object (instead of the first as in the video). That way edge~ will output a bang for the new trigger instead of waiting for the signal of the previous envelope to go back to zero before triggering, hence the repeated pitches when you play notes within intervals smaller than the total envelope time. This adresses the problem described in one of the comments.
