Mixing Sound Frequency with Colour

For my project I have to create my own 60 second sound piece that has the sound control the colour and sorta having the colour represent what the sound frequencies are doing. So as you can see in my max patch that is what I am trying to do. I want to mess around with more sounds and have a better colour depth so it's ranging in darkness and lightness depending on the mood of the sound. I also want my sound to sound more dynamic. I need more of an expert advice to help out since I am only just learning Max now. Im sorry if this explanation is bad I can assist in further questions if there is any.
