Can anyone recommend what are the sound synthesis forums and mailing lists with the most knowledgeable members?

I have some questions that i have had trouble finding good answers to on forums so far, so i'm looking for people that really know their stuff to ask.

Thanks, any help is much appreciated

Do yourself a favor and buy a copy of Curtis Roads' "The Computer Music Tutorial" [MIT Press]. You can thank me later.

For sure you're on one of them already, there are DSP forums which won't
help you much unless you're a professional DSP software developer
yourself, and there are the kind of "Music Mag Journalist "Experts""
which think they have an idea but they don't. They lurk around Reaktor
forums maybe...

How much would you know to understand their answers? I think Gregory's
advice is a good one. Combine it with asking here...

I think this forum is your best bet in bridging the gap in
finding what it is you want to know. It may take some time and
some good questions. The next step up would be a dsp forum which
would probably be pretty challenging depending on your level
of math. What exactly is the topic you want to know more about?
