I'm running a brand new macmini (last osx updates) with a motu 896mk3 and a lanbox-LCE connected to 8 dmx dimmers.

dmx and audio are running from max/msp 5. Motu is connected via a FW 800 port (800 to 400 cable)

dmx via Ethernet works perfectly until i run the audio, then the dmx and the audio starts to bug (cuts, clicks and freezes in audio, freezes in dmx) ...

Do anyone have any info about this issue?

did you got some solution? Which Mac OSX are you using? Snow Leopard?

This Bug is caused by the Lacie FW 800-400 flat cables!!!

yes they are indeed rubbish! there must be some error with how they connect the pins together, incredible!
