Hey all. Pardon my clumsy phrasing with this question. 

I'm trying to modify an existing M4L device that initially appears in Live with an "Open" button which, upon clicking it, takes me to a floating plug-in window in Ableton. The need to click in + this floating behaviour annoys me. I'd like to move the controls from this plugin window into the plugin area at the bottom of Live's UI and just display the parameters and controls there.

From what I can gather, it seems that the objects are all in "Presentation" mode in M4L. I've managed to unfreeze and unlock the Presentation area, but how to I move the control objects from the Presentation mode window into the area that they need to be in for use within the Ableton UI?
