Multichannel GRM Tools / vst~ not more than 2 channels working

Hi,

some GRM Tools allow for multichannel sound distribution. However, I can't get more than 2 channels to work with vst~.

Yes, I used vst~ with many possible arguments, 2 4 or 2 5 or whatever was possible, but only the first 2 outputs work, the rest are dead.
In the standalones you have to set the number of audio channels, but there is no such option in the VST-Plugins. Did I overlook something?

Thanks, Hans

i dont think 2 5 will work, did you try 4 4 yet?

Hi Roman,
yes, but none of the combinations work. I tried everything up to 8. Then:
If I send audio solely into the vst inputs 1 and 2, nothing comes out of the additional outputs, 3 and beyond.
If I send audio into vst inputs 3 and 4, they come out of outputs 3 and 4 "un-effected".

Now I saw that they offer the new multichannel "Spaces" collection, and downloaded the demos. Turned out, those work fine, since one can set the channel configuration within the GRM Tools VST plugin. One cannot do it with Doppler, Reson, Shuffling and Delays, which are the ones I am concerned about. Maybe it's a limitation in the GRM Tools.

Or a limitation in my brain, and I can't see the forest for the woods? ;-)))
