Multichannel setup

Hi! I know this must be obvious and has probably been asked before a bunch of times, but no matter what I type in I can't find an answer.

I'm trying to create a 4 channel setup. I have the Arturia MiniFuse 4 external sound card, and I'm using Windows 11.

If I open the options/audio status menu, I only find 2 channels at the I/O. I tried all the drivers I have, none of them have the 4 channel option.

If I look for multichannel drivers on google all I find are third party suspicious programs, and basically no info.

Do you have tips for a software setup that works?

Thank you in advance,

Best wishes,

Márton

if the additional channels do not show up in the audio setup, you probably have to do something outside max.
but which driver class you use? did you install and the select its ASIO driver?

I suspect this might be a Windows specific problem. However I couldn't find any info anywhere.

The driver which sees the device is ad_portaudio WASAPI where I can select MAIN Left/Right (MiniFuse4) or AUX L/R.

If I go to the ad_asio MiniFuse driver all I get is Clock Source and Output Limiting.

I got it! If I select the driver it allows for a 4 channel setup. I got confused because of the aux stuff.
