multiple sound output
Hello!
Has anyone ever worked with multiple blue-tooth headphones using Max/MSP and 1 single computer? I've been trying to figure out how to get multiple sound output (that is, more than 2 channels).
Since this is blue-tooth, I am having trouble understanding the possible applications for sound feedback. Is the only option to create an ad-hoc network (multiple computers communicating with one another)? Or is there a way to have max send different sound files back to each headphone?
Sincerely,
Nour
If you are on Mac OS X, you can create an "Aggregate Device" in Audio MIDI Setup made up of all the output devices you are using. I'm not sure how bluetooth headphones work, but that would be my first try.
Inside Max, you can use the DSP Status menu to select your aggregate device, and a dac~ object with multiple arguments to output.
Hey, were you ever able to get those bluetooth headsets working?
